Got my wine, all good

I needed some wine for a dinner party so I tried out KosherWine.com. I picked up a couple of bottles of Flam Cabernet Sauvignon and a bottle of Psagot. The website was easy to use, found what I wanted without any hassle. It took maybe 6 days for them to get to my door. Everything was packed well, no broken bottles or anything. The wine tasted great, so I was happy. Would probably order from them again when I need more.

Decent selection, slow shipping

I ordered a few bottles of Herzog Lineage Cabernet Sauvignon and some Bartenura Blue Moscato. The selection on the site is really good, lots of options. Shipping took about 8 days to reach me in California, which felt a bit long. The packaging was secure though, everything arrived safe. Customer service was quick to respond when I had a question about tracking. Overall, a solid experience, but faster shipping would be a nice improvement.

Good deal on a mixed case

I was looking for some wines for Sukkot and saw their mixed cases. I grabbed the Sukkot Mixed Case and got a pretty good price per bottle, especially with the free shipping for 15 bottles. It felt like I got a solid value for my money, which is what I always look for. No complaints there.

Thinking of doing a big order, is that 'free shipping on 15 bottles' deal a permanent thing? Or does it come and go?

R Rosa 1 month ago
That 15-bottle free shipping deal seems to always be on. I've used it multiple times over the last year.

It's pretty standard for them. I wouldn't worry about it disappearing anytime soon, it's kinda their main shipping perk for cases.

Does anyone know if their first-time buyer discount still works? Or do you have to sign up for the newsletter for that?

S Sam 1 month ago
I think I got a pop-up when I first went to the site that gave me a code for my first order. Didn't even sign up for the newsletter right away.

Yeah, they usually have something for new customers. Check around the site or just sign up for the newsletter, that's usually the easiest way to grab a coupon code.

I'm looking at some wines for Passover, but also saw some good deals on JWines. Are these guys generally better, or is it kinda six of one, half dozen of the other?

D Dana Nguyen 2 months ago
KosherWine.com usually has a way bigger selection, especially for hard-to-find stuff. JWines is okay for basics though.

I've bought from both. KosherWine.com's customer service was way better when I had a damaged bottle once. Plus, their holiday sales, especially around Passover, seem to have deeper discounts on more premium stuff.

Hey, wondering how long shipping usually takes for orders to, like, New York City? Need some stuff for a shabbat dinner next week.

B Ben Q. 1 month ago
I'm in Brooklyn, usually get my orders within 3-5 business days. Depends on when you order, obviously.

Yeah, same here in Queens. Ordered on a Monday, got it Friday once. They're pretty good about getting it out fast, but I'd leave a little wiggle room just in case.
